The End of an Era!

As I wind down Berkshire Veneer and wander around the warehouse looking at the last remaining inventory, it allows me to reflect on the past 35 years of relationships I have formed with hundreds of fabulous customers. It has been an honor and a privilege working with talented artisans who take the raw veneer and transform it into things of beauty. Projects have ranged from tiny repairs on Steinway pianos to tricking out the World Trade Center Museum with 6,000 square feet net of white ash panels. I have had the joy of being involved with some of the most stunning architectural woodworking projects in New York city and beyond. At this juncture in life, I’d like to take a moment to say “thank you” to all of my customers and friends who have allowed me to play a small part in their projects. I hope their world is a more beautiful place because of my involvement. And a tip of the hat to those visionary artisans who have the talent to bring such projects to fruition. Thank you.
